Toppers Tavern Update First, I would like to thank Chef, Randy Hawes & Cassandra Hines along with the entire F&B staff for the great work and outstanding efforts throughout this challenging time.   Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the Del Webb Spruce Creek Golf & Country Club community has done a tremendous job in supporting the staff and the operations of Toppers Tavern. Toppers is an amenity that was built for the community, which is the main reason for my commitment to earn the business of the community.  When we are able to do that, the response has always been very positive.  So when Governor Desantis moved to Phase 3 of Florida's reopening, which is allowing restaurants to go back to 100% capacity, this left us with a decision on how Toppers would respond.     Toppers will continue with its current plan for at least the near future, which is remaining at 50% capacity.  In order for us to best accommodate the demand for dining, we will implement the following: introduce a 2 seating schedule in the evenings open on Monday nights spruce up the lanai for a more pleasurable lunch and dinner experience as the weather begins to cool down.     As with any decision we make regarding changes to the operation, like changing the % capacity, our number one concern is to ensure that our employees and customers remain safe.  Each change will be done conservatively and with thought.    Sincerely Dale Smauder
