Alert! Arrogant & Pompous, but Cuomo Still is NOT ABOVE the Constitution or the Law

No matter who Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) thinks he is or what he thinks he can do to his political enemies, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is still not above the Constitution or the law and must be held accountable.  No Governor is allowed to try to destroy people they don't like.  No Governor is allowed to declare war on an organization simply because they disagree politically.  Yet that's exactly what NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is trying to do.

NRA would not be suing Cuomo if he wasn't trampling the right of law-abiding citizens to exercise their constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) on Saturday sharply dismissed a new lawsuit from the National Rifle Association (NRA), saying, "I wish you could become immune to this virus the way I've become immune to NRA lawsuits."

Cuomo's remark came during a briefing on the response to the virus in the state. He was asked about an NRA lawsuit filed Thursday and whether he anticipated further legal challenges to his order deeming gun shops nonessential, forcing them to close during the pandemic.

"I think I've been sued by the NRA — must be a dozen times. I didn't even know I was sued this time. You become sort of lawsuit immune," he said. "I wish you could become immune to this virus the way I've become immune to NRA lawsuits."…
