As your Five Star Facility, we've been closely monitoring and learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. For Shooters World, that means understanding how it influences our employees, customers and communities, then making the necessary adjustments to our work and operations.
We have one simple standard: keeping you and our employees safe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we have made several efforts in our business in response to the threat of the coronavirus.
To protect you, we have increased, already stringent, cleaning services at our stores and are adding hand sanitizer at the front entrances and at all cash registers. We are endeavoring to keep sanitizing wipes in full supply near employee workstations and counters so that employees are able to keep them clean during all hours of the day.
Our Five-Star Gun Range are the safest and most advanced public indoor shooting range in the Southeast US. Shooters World utilizes state-of-the-art HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air) filters, which capture 99.97% of airborne particulates. This unclean air is then removed and clean air is recirculated into our gun range facility. This provides our guests with the highest air quality available.
We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick or are returning from an area of the world identified as posing a coronavirus-related risk. Per CDC recommendations, we will ask employees who have traveled to such locations or have been exposed to others who have traveled to such locations to self-quarantine for 14 days.
