Resident Information - 2020 Spruce Creek Games

Spruce Creek Golf & Country Club Senior Games for Charity   The brochures for the games will be arriving in your boxes today or tomorrow and registration will begin on Friday, January 24th. You can fill out the registration form in the brochure or you can register online through the Spruce Creek website at sprucecreekgcc.com. After you filled out the online registration you will need to bring a copy of the acknowledgment receipt to either the Fitness Center during normal operating hours or the Horizon Center on Monday, Wednesday or Friday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Registration will end on Sunday, February 9th, 2020 at 6:00pm. Payment may be made with a check or cash in the exact amount. There is no change available. Your community ID card is required at time of registration and you will receive your t-shirt and opening ceremonies lunch ticket at that time.   T-shirts are based on a first come first serve basis and sizes are limited and we are unable to reorder.   Proceeds from the Games will be donated to Camp Boggy Creek. Since 1996, Camp Boggy Creek has made it possible for children with serious illnesses to enjoy a camp experience in a safe, medically-sound environment. Camp Boggy Creek never charges campers to attend and never ask them to contribute anything other than a positive, playful attitude.   Opening ceremonies will be held at the Softball Field on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020 at 3:30pm. Following the opening ceremonies all participants will receive a hotdog, chips and a water or soda with their ticket. This year during the serving of the hotdogs will be the Chili Cook Off and Cornbread Challenge and for a donation, that will go to Camp Boggy Creek, you can add Chili to your hotdog or have cornbread and chili with your hotdog.   Closing ceremonies will be held in the Ballroom on Friday, March 13th at noon. You will need to purchase the ticket for that at time of registration.   We hope to have a record number of participants this year for this annual community event.
