Supervisor Wilcox Sworn in as FSASE Secretary
Secretary of State, Ken Detzner swore in Supervisors of Elections as Executive Officers and Board of Directors for the Florida State Association of Supervisors of Elections (FSASE) at the Summer Conference. Congratulations to all, including our own Supervisor Wilcox who was sworn in as Secretary.
Be Advised of Misleading Mailings
Wesley Wilcox, Supervisor of Elections, advises Marion County citizens about a potentially misleading mailing sent by the Center for Voter Information (CVI), a Washington, DC based organization. The organization has in the past used outdated and often incorrect data to mail pre-filled Florida Voter Registration Applications to already registered voters, deceased family members, minors, and pets. Please be advised that neither the Marion County Supervisor of Elections nor the Florida Secretary of State has printed or distributed these unofficial mailings and are in no way affiliated. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please visit VoteMarion.com to look up your official voter record or call our office at 352-620-3290.
Veterans Wall of Honor
May 30, 2018 was the public unveiling of our Veterans Wall of Honor at the Election Center. Thank you to the nearly 100 guests that joined us to honor our veterans and view the display. Supervisor Wilcox was presented with a flag that was flown in Afghanistan from 3/30/18 until 4/21/18 and plans to include it on the wall. View the entire photo album here.
