Dear Steven,
With the New Year underway, I wanted to express again how grateful we are for your commitment and activism in defense of our Second Amendment rights.
Unfortunately, Congress is back for 2018, and I'm afraid we're still knee-deep in the largest federal fight for our gun rights in five years.
Just before Christmas break, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives passed the MASSIVE Feinstein-backed expansion of the Brady-NICS Gun Control Database.
Now, the fight is igniting over in the GOP-led Senate, where a final "deal" could be voted on at any moment.
That's why I need you to call BOTH of your U.S. Senators and urge them to OPPOSE the "Fix NICS Act."

Sadly, some Republicans are still openly working hand-in-hand with anti-gunners on this gun control scheme.
As reported by "The Hill," the Senate's #2 ranking Republican, Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), has been "the driving force in the GOP" for this gun control package.
Unfortunately, Cornyn is kicking off the New Year on the same gun control crusade he started in 2017.
Last Wednesday, Sen. Cornyn stormed down to the Senate Floor to deliver an opening speech – with fury in his eyes - threatening the Second Amendment live on C-Span2.
Here's what he said:

Opening Senate Floor Remarks 1/3/2018 Steven, this is about Big Government gun control – make no mistake about it.
If passed into law, S. 2135 would expand the national gun control "super database" to strip the Second Amendment rights of potentially millions of law-abiding Americans without due process.
The Feinstein-Cornyn gun control bill will:
*** Strip hundreds of thousands of Americans (or more) of their gun rights without due process. *** Spend at least $625 MILLION over the next five years on putting more names of law-abiding Americans on the Brady-NICS gun control database. *** Threaten to revive Obama's failed Social Security Gun Ban that would have destroyed the gun rights of 4.2 Million Senior Citizens. While this is concerning, I take comfort in the fact that I am fighting alongside pro-gun patriots like you, Steven.
That's why I need you to call BOTH of your U.S. Senators and urge them to OPPOSE the "Fix NICS Act."
