Local NRA Foundation Grants:

With funds raised through Friends of NRA, The NRA Foundation grants provide essential funding that benefits programs such as:

Brevard County Schools/Astronaut High School Junior ROTC Rifle Team

Grant helped: provide exposure to firearm safety procedures and practices for the entire cadet population, increase the number of participants in the rifle team and the accuracy and scoring level of rifle team participants, and provide safe, reliable equipment and supplies required to provide a sound educational environment for a safe, knowledgeable cadet corp and a successful, competitive rifle team.

Florida 4-H Foundation/Citrus County 4-H Association

Grant helped support the shooting program, which includes a 4-H Project Record Book and Report. These books will allow the youth to set goals and document the events and activities they complete toward these goals. Members will also complete an end of the year survey documenting the knowledge, skills, and future plans developed through their participation in the 4-H Shooting sports club.

Gulf Ridge Council, BSA

Grant helped support the Gulf Ridge 2014 Annual Clays Tournament at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays, which raises funds for the Council.
